OHAE0020 - Calculate standard wage maintenance

In this IMG activity you can define the calculation method to be used for calculating the standard wage maintenance.

The company guarantees temporarily incapacitated employees 100% of their income.

You must previously have defined:

• the wage types used to form the standard wage maintenance daily basis

• the calclation method for the standard wage maintenance daily basis.

A standard SAP calculation method is provided.

The standard SAP method calculates a standard wage maintenance amount for each one of the intervals into which the absence is broken down. It guarantees 100% of the payments that form the standard wage maintenance daily basis.

Adjust the standard calculation method according to your needs.

1. Check the standard SAP calculation method.
2. Adjust the method or define a new one according to your needs. Copy rule ECG0 rule into rule ZCG0.
3. Change the standard wage maintenance calculation method for each payroll type in rule ZCG0. You can define different calculation formulas using a decision tree.
4. Replace the call to rule ECG0 in subschema EIL0 with ZCG0.

If you do not want to change the standard SAP calculation method, omit points 2 to 4 inclusive and use standard rule ECG0.

Note that there may be overlaps between between absences due to holiday leave and temporary incapacity.
