Bonus payments for employees in a temporary incapacity situation are defined as the difference between the benefit and the standard wage maintenance amounts.

In this IMG activity you can define the wage types that will display the bonus payment amount.

The company guarantees temporarily incapacitated employees 100% of their income. Therefore, the wage supplement of said employee will be the difference between his remuneration and the Social Insurance and/or company benefits.

You must previously have defined the wage types that display the bonus payment for employees in a TD situation.

The standard SAP method guarantees 100% of the wage types that form the standard wage maintenance daily basis. Therefore, the wage supplement is the difference between the standard wage maintenance and the benefit.

SAP contains model wage types for the following bonuses:

  • Non-industrial disease.
  • Industrial disease and industrial accident
  • Leave due to childbirth for biological mother

Adjust the model wage types according to your needs.

  1. Check the SAP model wage types.
  2. Adjust or define the wage types or define new ones according to your needs.
  3. Copy standard rule ECC0 into rule ZCC0.
  4. Copy the standard rule EC50 that includes the new processing of the childbirth leave for the biological mother as of 1/1/95, in rule ZC50.
  5. Replace the model supplement wage types in rule ZCC0 with the wage types that you defined earlier.
  6. Repeat the process for rule ZC50.
  7. Change the call to rule ECC0 in subschema EIL0 with ZCC0.
  8. Repeat the process for rule EC50.

Omit points 2 to 4 inclusive if you do not wish to change the model wage types. In this case you can use standard rules ECC0 and EC50.
