SAP E-Book

Bonus payments for employees in a temporary incapacity situation are defined as the difference between the benefit and the standard wage maintenance amounts.

In this IMG activity you can define the wage types that will display the bonus payment amount.

The company guarantees a temporarily incapacitated employee 100% of his income. His bonus payment will be the difference between his remuneration and the social insurance and/or company benefits.

You must previously have defined the wage types that display the bonus payment for employees in a TI situation.

The standard SAP method guarantees 100% of the wage types that form the standard wage maintenance daily basis. Therefore, the bonus payment is the difference between the standard wage maintenance and the benefit

SAP contains model wage types for the following bonuses:

  • Non-industrial disease
  • Industrial disease and industrial accidents,
  • Maternity.

Adjust the model wage types according to your needs.

  1. Check the SAP model wage types.
  2. Adjust the wage types or define new ones according to your needs.
Copy rule ECCD<7> into rule ZCCD.
Copy standard rule EC5D into rule ZC5D.
  3. Replace the model bonus wage types in rule ZCCD with the wage types that you defined earlier.
Repeat the process for rule ZC5D.
  4. Replace the call to rule ECCD in subschema EILD to ZCCD.
Repeat the process for rule EC5D.

Omit points 2 to 4 inclusive if you do not wish to change the model wage types. In this case you can use standard rules ECCD and EC5D.
