Sicknesses are assigned new absence valuation rules depending on entitlement. The absence category in the personal calendar is used to assign the new rules.
The employee was sick for 15 days. The parameter settings specify 3 days' waiting period, 6 days' absence paid at 100%, and 4 days' absence paid at 75%. There is no past record of sickness.
Absence valuation for this sickness period is as follows:

(K = waiting period, X = 100% paid absence, Y = 75% paid absence, N = unpaid absence)
If necessary, maintain the absence valuation rules provided in the SAP standard version.
