In this step, you make the necessary settings for calculating the basis of the 13th month's salary.

The 13th month's salary amounts to one twelfth of the total of all required wage types. Required wage types are grouped under technical wage type /111.

Cumulation 11 (13th salary basis) controls whether a wage type is included in the calculation of the 13th month's salary. If you wish to use this option, flag the relevant field for the wage types in question.

To check and, if necessary, change the coding of these wage types, proceed as follows:

  1. Select a wage type and choose Detail.
  2. Define the validity period.
  3. If the wage type chosen is to used to calculate the 13th salary, select the Cumulations field.
