OHAGOSP00111 - Activate Original Absence Record Retention In Payroll

In this step, you decide that you wish to retain the original absence record that is split. In this way, the payroll Absence table (table AB) will contain the original absence and any splits derived from it.

Automatic absence splitting is active.

Only activate this functionality if you really use the original absence record that was used to perform SSP/SMP and OSP/OMP splits in table AB.

It is very unlikely that you will need to retain the original absence record.

If you are using part period factoring, then retaining the original absence record can lead to overpayment and so must be customized with this additional complexity in mind.
