In this step, you define the limiting rules for your absence evaluation scheme rules.

An employee is entitled to six months full sick pay in one year, but they lose that entitlement if the employee has already been paid 12 months full sick pay in the last four years.

The "Entitlement Limit" rule therefore specifies the limit, period to check, and the payment bands involved.

The only payment bands available are those for complete days.

The absence grouping is not part of the limit rule.

It is assumed that the limiting rule will always be for the same absence grouping as the scheme rule that is being limited. This means, for example, that a maternity entitlement would not be limited by the amount of sickness entitlement used.

If this is not the case for your requirements, use the customer exit for overriding entitlements (EXIT_SAPLHRGPBS_OSP_OMP_ENT) to perform the same code as in the limiting module HRGPBS_OSP_OMP_CHECK_LIMIT. Change the customer exit to read a "hard coded" limiting rule that you have created in the normal way, but provide a different absence grouping in the fields of the submark.
