In this step, you determine the type of entitlement calculation to be performed when an employee is absent.

The feature GENTT allows the selection of a specific entitlement calculation type depending on employee grouping and absence type.

The SAP pre-delivered settings calculate all entitlements in days. If you have hourly-paid employees, then it may be advisable to activate an hourly-based entitlement calculation for this employee group.

The different entitlement calculation types necessary for your needs mustbe attached to allyour various Employee Groups and Absence Subtypes.
