Companies providing employees with accommodations (quarters) have to report this information to the tax authorities for the employees to receive tax exemption for rental allowances and overseas travel allowances. One such piece of information is the type of accommodation.

In this step, you maintain the possible types of accommodations that an employee is entitled to rent, or be put up during overseas trips.

The following are examples of the possible types of accommodations (nature of quarters):

  • House
  • Flat
  • Hotel Room

The standard system comes with model entries for some common types of accommodations.

Add any additional types of accommodations that are available to the employees.
