In this step, you can decide which data in HR-HK: Payroll cluster table for Tax Quarters - Tax Yearinternal table (TAXADR) and master data in Addressesinfotype (0006) to be selected for tax reports, both in print and electronic formats.

For tax reports in computerized format in Hong Kong, legal length limits on the following types of tax-relevant address iare set by HK IRD as below:

  • Residential address: no more than 90 characters
  • Correspondence address: no more than 60 characters
  • Living quarter address: maximum two entries allowed, with no more than 110 characters for each

In both TAXADR and the infotype, there are the same set of fields constitute the tax-relevant addresses in tax reports:

  • Street and House No.(STRAS) in the infotype, corresponding to Full Street and House No. information (FTRAS) in TAXADR: maximum 60 characters
  • 2nd address line ( LOCAT) in the infotype, corresponding to Full 2nd Address line information (FOCAT) in TAXADR: maximum 60
  • City (ORT01) in the infotype, corresponding to Full City information (FRT01) in TAXADR : maximum 40

The above fields in TAXADR forms the basis for living quarter address in tax forms, while those in the infotype for Residential address and Correspondence address.

Due to the possible length difference in TAXADR and the infotype with the tax forms, there might be unnecessary data loss when processing for tax forms. Therefore, SAP here provides this functionality to prevent such loss, in addition, you can decide for yourself what data in TAXADR and the infotype should be included in tax forms.

  • Create a new project for SAP enhancement.
  • Define SAP enhancement (PC270010) to the project.

There are components for each customer-exit. You should copy them to your own include programs. After copying, you can edit your own include programs.
