In this step, you check the coding of the wage types during retroactive payroll accounting.

The processing class for these wage types is 70. This processing class determines the way a wage type is processed during a retroactive payroll run.

Note

Wage types which are required for further processing after the end of retroactive processing, or are used in calculations in retroactive situations must use the processing class values marked (IT).

Check that the coding of the listed wage types meets your organization's requirement. To make any changes to the processing class specifications of a wage type:

  1. Select a wage type and choose the Detail button on the taskbar.
  2. Specify a validity period.
  3. Change the specifications of the processing class for the wage type.
  4. Save your entries.
