Infotype 0193 is used for entering data of new employees; it should be filled in when the employee enters on the basis of the Data sheet of leaving persons obtained from the previous employer. You can enter data in infotype by subtypes.

Normally, you can specify on the second screen of table Wage and salary items (T511) (serving actually to maintain table Wage item validity by infotype (T512Z) on which infotype a wage type should be displayed.

In the case of infotype 0193, you should specify this differently. Data entered on the second screen of table T511 will not be used during the operation of infotype 0193.

In the case of infotype 0193, table Display wage types and their validity in infotypes (T5H2Z) is used to define in which subtype of the infotype and in what particular relative order a given wage type should be displayed.

Wage types can be organized in an arbitrary sequence within a subtype of an infotype via table T5H2Z. Wage types will be displayed in the relative order defined by their sequence number within the given subtype on the Change/Display screen of the infotype. Be careful that field subtype is character-based, thus, the code specified here has to exactly match the code of the entered subtype (as an example ‘1 ‘ is not the same as ‘ 1’ or ‘0001’). When defining validity dates, you should be careful not to assign a wage type to the given infotype on the specified date more than once.

For technical reasons, the following restrictions must be taken into account when allowing posting wage types in the individual subtypes:

  • Amount: max. Can be posted for up to 60 wage types
  • Numeric value: max. Can be posted for up to 6 wage types

The sample company settings of table T5H2Z are only delivered to client '000' by transport. This means that these settings have to be first transferred to the production client(s) of the customer.
