OHAHSVC100 - SI component start date and production run

This step is required for harmonizing the Hungarian personal calendar generation and the payroll operation. The feature 21GEN that can be set here specifies parameters for the RPTGENH0 program (productive operation, retroactive final date). The returned value is a 9-character-long text in the feature.

• The first position of the returned value is the parameter for productive operation ('X' = productive, SPACE = non-productive (development system or testing)). This has to be set to 'X' after finishing system testing. This setting ensures that the generation of the Hungarian personal calendar can only be started for the payroll period set in the Personnel control record. This setting is of vital importance for the proper operation of the SI accounting and reports querying its results.
  

• Using the 8 characters of the returned value from the 2nd to the 9th character, the retroactive final date shall be specified. This date is the day before which no Hungarian personal calendar should be generated. This date usually equals the starting date of the system (or the SI accounting).

This setting specifies productive operation and an SI accounting starting on 01/01/1999.

The sample company setting specifies non-productive operation.
