OHAHSVF300 - SI child additional data (0286)

Although part of the children's data had already been recorded in the infotype 0021, you will need further data to execute the SI accounting (e.g. to determine child allowance or GYES). This infotype contains these data as per children. All infotypes 0286 are assigned to an infotype 0021on the basis of the child identification.
In the infotype 286, the child identifier means the subtype of the infotype. At present, you can record max. 9 children (01..09) for an employee. Based on the system settings, you can only create max. one infotype entry for a child for a date.

• Serial No.
  The child's identification, which has already been recorded in the Relatives infotype. This sequence number assigns the infotype to the corresponding infotype 0021 (Relatives), i.e. this sequence number assigns the data entered here to the relevant child. This field is the identification of the subtype of the infotype.
  

• Mother family and first name
  These entries do not have an effect on accounting, they are only of information character.
  

• Event
  Field to record an event, which causes a change in the entitlement to services obtainable for the child and can be linked to a date. (In case the child is taken under state care or he/she dies, the child allowance payment cannot be continued and the amount of the GYES, GYED and the maternity pay are changed.) There is only one case when you have to select the validity date of the child's infotype in the Relatives infotype, namely, if the number of children in the household must be decreased (e.g. a child under state care is retaken into state care; in this case, the number of children that can be considered for benefits decreases by one).
  

• Date
  Date related to the event described above.
  

• Event
  Field to determine an event limiting the entitlement to obtainable child services in time (e.g. the study period from,to dates). This field effects the calculation of the child benefit.
  Related to the event, the system can be set for date monitoring to display those by whom the school attendance certificate should be submitted.
  

• Period
  Period related to the event described above.
  

• 3-month minimum pension
  Fill in this field if the event described by the period means the continuation of the studies in the workers school and, during this time, the child's income surpasses the amount of the minimum pension in three subsequent months. This field effects the calculation of the child benefit.
  

• Child condition
  In this field, you can record the reason of the entitlement to a child benefit of a higher amount (e.g. child enduring ill or physically or mentally retarded); and the system queries the field value when generating GYES. SPACE means the same as the code ‘EG’ (child is healthy).
  

• Med. exam. date
  This does not have an effect on accounting, it is only of information character.
  You have to enter the date of the next medical examination for the child here.
  

• Child sequential number (GYES)
  This field is required because of the old GYES calculation method, as the children's order determines the monthly amount of the GYES as well. Additionally, when the number of children is decreased, the GYES with the lower amount has to be ceased by law, i.e. the order of the children might change.
  If GYES is determined by using the new method, it is not necessary to fill in the field.
  

• CSP prolonged
  You should state by entering the suitable date here if, because of the child condition, the CSP entitlement will be prolonged. If the child is older than 16 years and not healthy, then he/she will only receive child allowance in the in-month, if the value of the CSP prolonged field is the first day of the in-month at least.
  

• CSP correction - CSP amount
  You can enter the child benefit amount available for the specified child here if the system is not able to determine it for some reason or if you want to override the value calculated by the system. The entered value is considered if a valid value has been posted to this infotype on the last day of the current month. If an employee does not want to obtain the child benefit for all of his/her children (because, e.g. the spouse gets it for the other children), then you should override the amount calculated by the system by 0 for the specified child.
