OHAIAPR05 - Define processing classes

In this process step specific processing classes or their corresponding characteristics can be created so that they can be linked to logic views and used for the wage type maintenance.

New characteristics can also be created for the existing processing classes.

Processing classes of the SAP standard version are stored in a range from 01 to 89.

The processing class from 90 to 99 are available for specific customer inputs.

SAP recommends not to delete or change processing classes of the standard version as this could cause errors in the wage type calculation run.

1. Check the inputs that are still free in the customer area.
2. Select the processing classes in "Navigation".
3. Select "New inputs".
4. Determine the evaluation class number and enter a short text.

SAP recommends you to create new processing classes only in the mentioned customer area, as the inputs are updated in the SAP standard version they can be overridden in the next release change.
