SAP E-Book

The so-called 'standard periods' have been determined in this step; these periods, expressed in days or hours, represent the maximum number of days or hours paid for each protected action when this covers the whole month.

This concerns the company integration for sickness or maternity.

Suppose an employee is on maternity during the whole month of October and payroll is carried out on 27 working days, as the employee works on Saturday too (31 days in October minus 4 Sundays).

If the table in question did not exist, the system would calculate 27 maternity days. In this case the employee would receive a higher remuneration than the one she would have received if she had been at work.

SAP does not provide any standard settings, as this calculation depends on the processed month.

The calendar changes every year, on the basis of the actual calendar.

Create new entries for the year in question.
