In this step, you set up the details for each Jamsostek scheme. This includes:

  • creating all the levels for the appropriate Jamsostek schemes. For example, you have different levels of accidient benefits depending on the type of work the employees do. Therefore, you may need to create a number of levels for the different types of employees.
  • specifying the contributions that the employer and employee needs to pay for enrollment into the scheme. These contributions may be in the form of:
  • a percentage of the employee's base salary.

  • a fixed amount.

  • a combination of both a fixed amount and a percentage of the employee's base salary.

  • setting up the minimum and maximum amount governing the employer's and employee's contributions.
  • checking that the appropriate wage types are specified for each Jamsostek scheme.

You need to have the statutory details for each of the Jamsostek schemes, especially the contribution details for the employer as well as the employee.

The standard system contains the up to date details for the four Jamsostek schemes.

  1. Select the appropriate Jamsostek scheme to maintain.
  2. Check that the correct contributions and limits are given. You should also check that the correct wage types are specified.

For each field in the Contributions and Limits on Contributions sections, you can let the values entered here be overwritten on the infotype screen. This is done by selecting the respective indicator's checkbox.
