In this IMG activity, you decide on how to pay and process your Occupational Absence Schemes.

In this step you customize:

  • OxP Payment Rate (Grosses)
PCR IEA1: The employee's gross payments are totalled up into valuation bases 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14.
  • OxP Payment Rate (Divisors)
PCR IEA2: The total gross payments held in valuation bases 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 are divided down into absence payment rates using a calculation based on calendar days, working days or working hours in the pay period.
  • OxP Payment Modifiers
PCR IEA3: The payroll processing is separated into following different groupings for absence payment (MODIF 0A):
  • 01 - Working Hours,

  • 02 - Working Days

  • 03 - Calendar Days.

These correspond directly to an employees Employee Grouping for Payroll Accounting (ABART), (i.e. MODIF 0A = ABART). MODIF 0A is the main key of the table T544C.
  • OxP Payment Group Definitions
T512W: The notional wage types that make up OxP payments (i.e. OSFL, OSHF etc) are classified using Processing Class 21.
Non-OxP wage type (no processing)
  • Adoption (notional payments) added to OAPP and moved to RT

  • Industrial Injury (notional payments) added to OIPP and moved to RT

  • Maternity (notional payments) added to OMPP and moved to RT

  • Paternity (notional payments) added to OPPP and moved to RT

  • Sickness (notional payments) added to OSPP and moved to RT

  • Other OxP wage types moved to RT

  • OxP Payment Groups
PCR IEA4: The OxP notional wage types (OSFL, OSHF etc) are totalled up into the respective OxP Payment wage type based on the setting of Processing Class 21.
  • OxP Part Period Factoring
PCR IEPF: The calculation of part period factors is performed and the Part Period Factors (PPF). The wage types, /801, /802, /803, /804, /805 and /806 are created based on the amount of Working Hours, Working Days or Calendar Days for which the employee is absent without pay during the payroll period.

Note

The above mantioned steps are critical customizing steps. Without the correct payment rates, you cannot pay the employees correctly.
