OHAJBN1200 - Assignment of Wage Types to Plan

In this step, you assign benefits wage types to health plans.

Ensure that the Benefits Administration section of the Enterprise IMG is already fully implemented. It is not possible to assign benefits wage types unless benefit plans are implemented and complete.

Wage types have already been assigned to the model benefit health plans provided with the standard delivery.

1. Select the health plan for which you want to enter wage types.
2. Enter the begin date for validity of the wage types.
3. Assign wage types to all the presented wage type fields .
4. Save your entries.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for every plan.

Do not select the bonus payments check box, as for health plans no payments and deductions are proceeded in bonus payroll runs.

Depending on the way you have set up the plan, the system automatically requests only those wage types that are required for the plan.
