This step describes how to set the values for wage type dependent constant valuations.

The standard system contains sample entries with 01 as the modifier value and you can refer to these when creating your own wage types.

  1. Check whether there are wage types in your company that are valuated constantly.
  2. Check whether a wage type is valuated differently depending on certain criteria, such as location or person subgroup.
  3. Copy standard cycle JMOD into cycle ZMOD.
  4. Set up this decision tree in cycle JMOD and set modifier 2 (MODIF 2) to different values.
  5. Change the way in which the cycle is accessed in schema JT00 from JMOD to ZMOD.
  6. Enter the values per wage type and modifier.

In the standard SAP System, modifier 2 is normally set at 01. If you do not need any different values for same wage type, you can skip steps three to five and enter all wage types under the modifier value 01.
