OHAJCL001 - Set SAP AchiveLink for Uploading Leave Documents

In this Customizing activity, you make SAP ArchiveLink settings for uploading and managing additional documents about child care or nursing leave.

You assign document types, content repositories, and the Child Care Leave and Nursing Leave (3140) infotype to the employee document object type. To make these settings, proceed as follows:

1. Define number ranges
   Define the number range intervals that the system uses to generate unique names for uploaded files and request numbers for asynchronous requests.
2. Edit document types
   Create document types for child care or nursing leave and define their corresponding formats. You can define document types as in the following examples:

Document Type		Description		Document Class
HRCLVDOC1		Attachment of Child Care Leave Information (PDF)		PDF
HRCLVDOC2		Attachment of Child Care Leave Information (JPG)		JPG
HRCLVDOC3		Attachment of Child Care Leave Information (DOC)		DOC

1. Set up optical archiving in HR
   Assign the Child Care Leave and Nursing Leave (3140) infotype to the document types that you have created in the previous step.
2. Define content repositories
   Define the logical units in the storage system that are available for storing additional documents about child care or nursing leave. Skip this step if you want to use existing content repositories.
3. Edit links
   Assign the defined document types, content repositories, and link tables to the Employee Document (PREL) object type.
