OHAJCL005 - Assign Relationship Codes for Dependent Declaration Forms

In this Customizing activity, you assign the codes that represent the relationship between employees and their dependents to the dependents in the system. Based on the mapping between the relationship code and the dependents, the Generation of Dependent Declaration Form (Data Files) (RPLDHDJ0) report displays the corresponding relationship code in the forms.

Assign the following attributes to a type of dependent, that is, a subtype of the Family Member/Dependents (0021) infotype:

• A type of relationship between the employee and the dependent, for example, wife

• The corresponding relationship code to be displayed in the forms, for example, 01 for husband, 17 for siblings

You have assigned the relationship code as follows:

When the status of such a dependent (this dependent is managed as a Child (2) subtype, and the relationship with employee is managed as 21 First Son) has changed and you run the RPLDHDJ0 report to create the form data file, the system displays 03 as the relationship code in the form.
