In this Customizing activity, you define the wage type groups for fixed amount calculation and variable amount calculation for reports Employment Insurance Certification of Leaving (RPCELVJ0) and Wage Certificate at the Age of 60 (RPCEWCJ0). Based on the predefined wage types, these reports calculate and display the fixed amount results and variable amount results respectively.

The standard system contains sample wage type groupings for calculating the fixed amount and variable amount based on the following principles; you can change them according to your own requirements.

Fixed wage amount:

  • Basic payment for salaried employees, monthly wage earners
  • Periodical commuter allowance
  • Allowances paid per payroll calculation period such as family allowance

For example, wage type Commuter Allowance (A010)

Variable wage amount:

  • Basic payment for hourly wage earner, daily wage earner
  • Overtime allowance
  • Any allowances whose amount is determined by working days or hours in the calculation period.

For example, wage type Normal Over Time Hour (M110)

After calling up the Customizing activity, the Determine Work Area dialog box appears.

  1. Select RHRT in Subapplication field.
  2. Choose Enter.
  3. On the Wagetype Grouping for Rehiring(Retirement )screen, specify which of the wage types you want to add or modify to calculate the fixed amount.
To do this, place the cursor in the Fixed wage type grouping (FXWG), double click the Wagetypes in a WTgrp, the wage type list appears. You then can add or change wage types in it.
  1. Specify which of the wage types you want to add or modify to calculate the variable amount
To do this, place the cursor in the Variable wage type grouping column (VRWG), double click the Wagetypes in a WTgrp, the wage type list appears. You then can add or change wage types in it.
