In this step, you adjust the payroll modifier for vacationable earnings (modifier KMOD-identifier 1). You also check the include/exclude indicator for each payment. This defines whether the payment counts as vacationable earnings for each employee grouping and province.

  1. Adapt rule KMO1 as needed. See the documentation for the rule for further information on how KMO1 processes wage types.
  2. Change schema KMO0 to reflect the new rule you adapted from KMO1.
  3. In the third activity, specify which earnings should be accounted as vacationable earnings. Make this specification for each employee grouping (i.e., each KMOD-1 value). If vacationable earnings are not maintained for the modifier specified (KMOD-identifier), the payroll modifier value '01' will be used as the default for defining the accountability of those earnings.
  4. Maintain wage types in processing class 67.
