In this Customizing activity, you assign reporting areas to report types.

The assignment of reporting areas to report types does not depend on Organization Management; assignment works with and without Organization Management.

To assign reporting areas to report types:

1. In Report Type:

• Select the logical report type and grouping reason.

1. In Reporting Area:
1. Select the reporting area.
2. Specify the start and end dates to define the period during which the assignment is valid.
3. Specify the grouping value (Legal Properties (1657) infotype).
