In this Customizing activity, you make settings for the tax schema assignment, as follows:

  1. Perform the default tax schema assignment
  2. Make additional settings for the tax schema assignment (optional)

In the first part of this Customizing activity, you determine which tax schema is the default setting for a given personnel area and subarea.

Personnel Area Subarea Additional Key Tax Schema
KZ01 0001   10

In the second part of this Customizing activity, you perform the following configuration:

  1. Set up the relationship between the return value of feature KZTXS (see Customizing activity Determine Tax Schema) and tax schemas (see Customizing activity Assign Tax Classes to Tax Schemas).
Example:
Personnal Area Subarea Value of Feature KZTXS Tax Schema
KZ01 0001 INV 20
KZ01 0001 RES 10
KZ01 0001 REN 30
KZ01 0001 NRES 40
KZ01 0001 CRES 50
KZ01 0001 CNRES 60

  1. Assign tax classes to a tax schema. The following taxes are valid in Kazakhstan:

  • Social insurance contributions (SIC) K3

  • Social tax (ST) K4

This allows for the processing of the tax calculation for the following categories of employees:
  • Employees (EE) on the payroll, tax residents

  • Employees (EE) on the payroll, tax non-residents

  • Employees (EE) on the payroll, tax residents, pensioners
