In this step, you define partial period formulas for wage types that you enter in the Basic Pay (0008) infotype or the Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014) infotype.

Since wage types from the 0008 infotype are created for each partial period if changes in the Organizational Assignment (0001) infotype or the 0008 infotype are not made at the start of a period, these wage types must be reduced by factors which are created on the basis of the partial periods.

Wage types from the 0014 infotype, on the other hand, are created once per period only. For this reason, partial period factors can only be used for these wage types that are created on the basis of the entire period.

The standard system contains various partial period formulas.

  1. Check which partial period factors you need, and whether you need to change the standard formulas.
  2. Copy standard personnel calculation rule QPPF to personnel calculation rule ZPP0
  3. Copy standard personnel calculation rule QPP1 to personnel calculation rule ZPP1
  4. Change the partial period formulas in personnel calculation rule ZPP1 to meet your requirements
  5. Change personnel calculation rule ZPP0 so that it accesses ZPP1 instead of ZPP0
  6. For private sector concurrent employment (CE) and non-concurrent employment (non-CE) solutions, change personnel calculation schema QAL0 so that it accesses ZPP0 instead of QPPF
OR
For public sector CE and non-CE solutions, change personnel calculation schema AUL9 so that it accesses ZPP0 instead of QPPF
If you are using the redesigned tax solution,
For private sector CE and non-CE solutions, change personnel calculation schema QAL1 so that it accesses ZPP0 instead of QPPF
OR
For public sector CE and non-CE solutions, change personnel calculation schema AUL1 so that it accesses ZPP0 instead of QPPF
