OHAQLVE00102 - Assign Employee to Hours Worked

This step describes how you set up the Contract Elements infotype (0016) so that leave is accrued proportionally based on the number of hours an employee works.

An employee works varying hours each payroll period. The employee is entitled to accrue leave, but not the full amount. Instead, the employee accrues a proportional value based on the hours worked and calculated as a percentage of the normal full-time hours.

In the standard system, the employee's contractual conditions are defined in the Contract Elements infotype.

The field Contract type indicates that an employee accrues leave proportionally based on hours worked. By entering the appropriate value in the Contract type field, the system accrues leave for the employee based on the number of hours worked.
