OHAQTRM00021 - Set Up Terminations/Redundancies Based on Leave Quotas

This step provides an overview of the system configurations you must make before setting up terminations and redundancies based on leave quotas in Personnel Time Management.

This information only applies to customers who process leave and absences based on leave quotas in Personnel Time Management.

Upgrade customers who process leave based on Australian leave accruals should disregard this information.

Before you configure the Terminations/Redundancies section of Customizing for Payroll Australia, you must configure the Quota Compensation section of Customizing for Personnel Time Management. In particular, you must configure the quota compensation types and subtypes used in the Quota Compensation infotype (0416).

To do this, go to SAP Reference IMG -> Personnel Time Management -> Time Data Recording and Administration -> Managing Time Accounts with Attendance/Absence Quotas -> Processing Absence Quotas in Payroll -> Time Quota Compensation -> Define Quota Compensation Types, and Assign Wage Types to the Quotas to be Compensated.

Before you can use them, you must assign a quota compensation subtype to each quota, to be compensated against the redundancy model. To do this, go to SAP Reference IMG -> Payroll Australia -> Terminations/Redundancies -> Set up Redundancy Rules for Paying Leave Quotas.

The standard system contains the quota compensation subtype 1301 for entry into the Quota Compensation infotype.
