In this step, you group time wage types into WSE (wage and salary earnings) wage types. WSE wage types are cumulation wage types used to define:

  • Rules for calculating the superannuation guarantee charge (SGC)
  • Superannuation rules based on hours worked

To cumulate time wage types such as normal hours, overtime, annual leave and sick leave into WSE wage types, you set processing class 72 to specification 1.

The standard system contains model SAP wage types that you can use or copy.

Processing class 72 (Hours worked for superannuation) and specification 1 (Cumulate hours worked for superannuation) are used to cumulate time wage types into WSE wage types.

To set up WSE wage types, you:

  1. Flag the wage type you want to cumulate into the WSE wage type, and choose Goto -> Details.
  2. Enter the specification against the processing class.
