In this Customizing activity, you assign the new subtypes of the Documents and Certificates (CIS) (0290) infotype that you created for early pregnancy certificates and death certificates to the following document groups:

  • EP (Early Pregnancy)
  • DC (Death Certificate)

These document groups define which documents are available in the input help of the Certificate for Early Pregnancy and Death Certificate fields of the Statement About Rules for SI Payments (0273) infotype.

You have created new subtypes for early pregnancy certificates and death certificates for the Documents and Certificates (CIS) (0290) infotype.

In the standard system, the subtypes 101 (Early Pregnancy Certificate) and 102 (Death Certificate) are available and are assigned to the document groups EP and DC respectively. If you use these default settings, you do not need to make any settings in this Customizing activity.

Assign the new subtype you created for early pregnancy certificates to the EP (Early Pregnancy) document group and the new subtype for death certificates to the DC (Death Certificate) document group.

You create the new document subtype 160 for early pregnancy, which is a subtype of the Documents and Certificates (CIS) (0290) infotype. You then assign the subtype 160 to the document group EP in this Customizing activity.

If you create new documents in the Documents and Certificates (CIS)(0290) infotype with subtype 160, these documents are available in the input help of the Certificate for Early Pregnancyfield when you enter data in the Early Pregnancy (RU03) subtype of the Statement About Rules for SI Payments (0273) infotype.
