In this Customizing activity, you link Minimum Limitation wage types with the wage type that stores the minimum amount that employees receive per calendar day. The daily amount (daily rate) is calculated as follows:

• Wage type (from): Daily rate = Monthly rate multiplied by 24 and divided by the number of days in the two-year period (730 or 731)

• Wage type (to): Daily rate = Monthly rate divided by the number of days in the current period

The system uses the link between the wage types to set the minimum amount of sickness pay that employees receive during a period of sickness.

For each Minimum Limitation wage type, enter the wage type that contains the minimum amount that employees can receive during a period of sickness.
