In this Customizing activity, the setting that you make in the Value field affects the values of the subtype of the Sickness Certificate (3330) infotype that are saved for electronic sickness certificates, as follows:

  • If the setting equals "+", then for any entry in the Sickness Certificate (3330) infotype that is created with no end date for exemption from work, the electronic sickness certificate status is Open and subtype 03 (Quarantine) is saved with subtype 53 (COVID Quarantine).
  • If the setting is empty, then the system functions the same as if this value was equal to +, but only if the dates of the sickness are between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020.
  • If the setting equals "-", then there are no changes to how the system saves values in the Sickness Certificate (3330) infotype.
