OHARUBP_PY_INTAX_003 - Define Constant to Reconcile Discrepancies
TXBHW - Original Tax Base Amount in Local Currency RFUMSV00 - Advance Return for Tax on Sales/PurchasesThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you define a constant that allows you to reconcile any differences between the amount of income tax calculated for an employee and the amount of income tax that is actually deducted from an employee's gross salary.
The constant represents the maximum amount that you can pay employees as an additional payment to reconcile discrepancies.
The system distinguishes between the following cases:
Reconciliation Method | Value of Constant |
---|---|
Reconcile income tax discrepancies by reducing income tax deductions in future payroll runs | 0 (zero) |
Reconcile the full amount of income tax discrepancies as an additional payment by adding the overdeducted amount to an employee’s net salary | 9,999,999.00 (infinity) |
Reconcile a portion of income tax discrepancies by adding a certain amount to an employee’s net salary and reconcile the remaining portion of income tax discrepancies by reducing income tax deductions in future payroll runs | The maximum amount that you want to pay out as an additional payment by adding an amount to an employee’s net salary |
In the standard system, the value of the constant is 9,999,999.00.
Depending on the way in which you want to reconcile income tax discrepancies, enter the corresponding value in this Customizing activity.
You deduct RUB 500 too much income tax from one of your employees, which means that you must return the excess deduction to your employee.
You want to return RUB 200 as an additional payment and RUB 300 during the next payroll run. To return the overdeducted income tax (RUB 200) to your employee as an additional payment, you enter RUB 200 in this Customizing activity.
If you enter any value other than 9,999,999.00 in this Customizing activity, the Forming
Wage Type for Deduction of Income Tax (RUTC) personnel calculation rule adds overdeducted income
tax – up to the amount that you enter in this Customizing activity - to the employee’s net salary.
The system processes the remaining overdeducted amount (RUB 300) during income tax calculation during a future payroll run.
