In this Customizing activity, you enable personnel calculation rules to read special data about Advance Tax Payments.

The standard system contains a secondary wage type to store the Advance Tax Balance and Advance Tax Payment Reduction. These wage types are used to accumulate all sums of Advance Tax Payments and for use by all tax rates.

During the payroll run, the Advance Tax Payment Balance (RUPA) personnel calculation rule reads the Advance Tax Payment Balance (/3AP) wage type and uses its amount to offset overpaid tax in the current period.

1. Select the Link from advance tax payment to advance tax payment balance (AP) indicator.
2. Enter the wage types that you want the system to link together.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for all of the wage types that you want the system to link together.
