In this Customizing activity, you assign wage types to wage type groups for Classification by Actual Date of Receipt.

You have created wage types in your Wage Type Catalog.

The standard system contains wage types that are already assigned to the following wage type groups:

  • PDWT - Group for primary wage types related to absences (modifier ABSE), Social Insurance Absence (modifier SICK) and other payments (bonuses and other non-salary wages (modifier OTHE)
  • PDBA - Group for income base wage types to transfer with redefinition of 2nd country/region split from off-cycle monthly advance run into regular run
  • PDTA - Group for income tax wage types to transfer with substitution from off-cycle monthly advance run into regular run, as specified in Customizing activity Assign Wage Types to Import Previous Off-Cycle Runs, and with redefinition of C1, V0, WPBP, ALP splits
  • PDTR - Group for technical wage types which should have 2nd country/region split in payroll result and information about Actual Date of Receipt in payroll table RUDAT
  • PDFU - Group for wage types which should be imported from the previous period and exported to the future period via payroll table FUP
  • PDBR - Group for tax base wage type for which data should be analyzed in retro calculation with reassignment of Actual Date of Receipt

Check the individual wage types and if necessary, add new wage types.

We recommend that you assign all wage types that you intend to use to the mentioned groups.

Note: When you copy wage types, you copy both the online processing characteristics and the characteristics associated with the calculation of SAP wage types.
