OHARUMDPA_INDV_N013 - Determine Personal Modifier for Bonus Calculation

In this Customizing activity, you determine the age, as of which you want employees who work in northern regions, for example, become eligible for a bonus. According to Russian legislation, the level of an employee’s bonus must depend on the employee’s age. To enable the system to assign a bonus based on the employee’s age, you enter the employee’s age, as of which a particular bonus model applies.

You have specified the personal modifiers that you want to use to assign bonus models to employees in the Determine Personal Parameters step of the Customizing activity Define Bonus Models.

Make the following settings for each personnel modifier (in the far left column) that you use to assign bonuses to employees:

1. Enter the employee’s age, as of which you want a bonus to apply to the employee’s assigned to a given personal modifier.
2. In the far right column, enter the personal modifier for bonuses that the system uses in combination with an employee’s age.

Assume that you want to grant a bonus to female employees who work in the far north of Russia. According to Russian legislation, all employees over the age of 50 are entitled to an additional bonus. To enable the system to grant both bonuses, you make the following settings:

1. In the Determine Personal Parameters step of the Customizing activity Define Bonus Models, you specify two personal modifiers: one for all female employees (FEM), and one for female employees aged over 50 (F50).
2. To enable the system to differentiate between women the two age ranges when it processes bonuses, in this Customizing activity, you create two records for the personal modifier FEM as follows:
