OHARUMDPA_INDV_N016 - Regional Coefficient Selection

In this Customizing activity, you manage selection of the regional coefficients from the Determine Percentage of Regional Bonuses Customizing activity by defining the different sets of key fields. The customization depends on various parameters of organizational structure. You can see the full list of these parameters in the attributes of the Regional Coefficients Selection (33REK) feature.

You create return tables consisting of three fields (Country, Region, and County) with their values linked to some nodes of organizational structure. When defining regional coefficient, the system changes the values taken from the Define Personnel Areas Customizing activity with values contained in these tables based on nodes of organizational structure, and applies the regional coefficient that is defined in the Determine Percentage of Regional Bonuses Customizing activity for the resulting values.

You want to set two different regional coefficients for employees from two different regions. These employees are linked to the same personnel area, but to two different subareas.

You create then two entries in the Determine Percentage of Regional Bonuses Customizing activity with required coefficients to each of them and enter the data as follows:

In the first entry:

Then you create two subnodes with different personnel subareas under the node with personnel area using this Customizing activity. The first one contains a return table with values as follows:

As mentioned above, when defining regional coefficients, the Regional Coefficients Selection (33REK) feature replaces the data from the Define Personnel Areas Customizing activity with the data from the return tables that you created in this Customizing activity, and chooses a coefficient defined in the Determine Percentage of Regional Bonuses Customizing activity based on this new data.

Now the employees from the different regions get different coefficients even though they are assigned to the same personnel area.
