OHARU_AV_CONNAVG - Define Connections for Average Calculation Rules in Absences

In this Customizing activity, you define connections between average calculation rules when the name of the average calculation rule assigned for a wage type (in the Customizing activity Assign the Valuation of Averages to a Primary Wage Type) is changed as from a specific date. This enables you to reuse the frozen average rate from one average calculation rule in another rule.

The absence, for which such wage types are generated, starts before the date of this change of customization and ends after this date. The period of absence after this date should be evaluated from the frozen average values which were previously calculated for the average rule actual on the start date of the absence.

It is also possible to link the initial absence to a new one by connecting them using the field SPPE1. This is applicable not only for different parts of one absence, but also for several absences (IT 2001 records).

To define the connection between an average calculation rule as of a certain date, you can create an entry with the following attributes:

• AVRULE - The name of calculation rule which was actual in past;

• AVRUL2 - The name of calculation rule which is actual from the date of change in the Customizing activity Assign the Valuation of Averages to a Primary Wage Type;

• BEGDA - The date on which the settings in the Customizing activity Assign the Valuation of Averages to a Primary Wage Type are changed, and on which the algorithm for substitution of average calculation rules is applied to the processing of the absence specified in the field AWART.

• AWART - The code of absence (subtype) during which processing the connection defined between specified average rules is applicable.

1. For absence ABS1, wage type WT01 is generated, and in the Customizing activity Assign the Valuation of Averages to a Primary Wage Type, the settings for this wage type is changed on 01.02.2013 from AVR1 to AVR2.
2. For absence ABS2, wage type WT02 is generated, and in the Customizing activity Assign the Valuation of Averages to a Primary Wage Type, the settings for this wage type is changed on 01.04.2013 from AVR1 to AVR2.
