In this Customizing activity, you enter contact and other administrative data about your organization, divided into each legal person within your company.

By default, the activity proposes to use organization type ‘04’, Social Contributions Payer.

You categorize the data about your organization depending on the purpose of the form for which you require the data in this Customizing activity. You use the data in all reports that generate forms.

If your organization has detached subdivisions, you create a separate set of records for each subdivision, that is, you create record for the company's view on the detached subdivision and a record for the tax office's view on the subdivision. Note: Ensure that you assign the subdivisions to the same legal person as your company's head office.

You want to store contact and other official data about your organization, whereby the data itself is required by two different bodies. To distinguish between the two different views on your company, you create two data types for your organization as follows:

Field   Entry Description
Organization Type   04 Your company
Legal Person   RU01 Name of legal person
Data Type   000 Internal view on your company's data
Data Type   001 Social Insurance Fund's view on your company's data

The two data types above enable you to adapt data about your company, depending on who is viewing the data.

For example, when you generate a form for the Social Insurance Fund, you use the data type that contains the Social Insurance Fund's view on your company.
