OHARU_TM_QUOTAS_002 - Set Up Selection Rule for Auto. Generation of Absence Quotas

In this Customizing activity, you determine the rules that the system uses to select the quota type to which an employee is entitled.

Based on the employee grouping, employees can be entitled to additional leave as follows:

• Depending on their seniority in special working conditions, for example, in hazardous working conditions

• Depending on the groups of employees who work in certain conditions

You have made the following settings:

• Employees who are entitled to additional leave based on their seniority in special working conditions
  You have made the settings in Customizing for Payroll Russia under Reporting -> Pension Insurance -> Pension Calculation for Special Working Conditions.

• Employees who work in a special environment
  If your employees work in a working conditions environment that entitles them to additional leave, you have made the following settings in the Customizing activity Determine Absence Quotas for Special Working Conditions:

• Created the groups for these employees

• Set up the evaluation paths in Organizational Management

• Entered the desired quota ID for the group in the QuotaGrp (Quota Group ID for Working Conditions Environment) field

The standard system contains sample entries for the following groups of employees:

• Employees who are entitled to an additional days’ leave because they work in special working conditions, for example, in hazardous working conditions, or in northern regions

• Employees who are entitled to additional leave because of their position, and for whom you have defined groups in the Customizing activity Determine Absence Quotas for Special Working Conditions.

1. Specify the employee groupings for which you want to assign a selection rule for absence quota types.
2. For each employee grouping, assign a quota type selection group and a selection rule for absence quota types.
3. Make the following assignments for each quota type:

• For employees who are entitled to additional leave because of their seniority based on special working conditions, enter the calculation process and step.

• For the groups of employees, for whom you create special groups in the Customizing activity Determine Absence Quotas for Special Working Conditions, assign the group ID to the required quota type.
