OHASEPS_AB003 - Assign Eligibility Limits to Absence Types

In this IMG activity, you assign limit types to absence types to limit the eligibility period of the absence.

You have checked that the standard limit types comply with the legally specified durations for eligible absences in the IMG activity Check Absence Limits.

The standard system settings are customized to process the following absences:

• Absences that are always eligible and therefore require no limit code.

• Absences that are always non-eligible.

• Absences for which eligibility depends on the absence duration and therefore require a limit code

Absence days that do not exceed the defined number of calendar days are eligible and absence days that exceed the defined number of calendar days are non-eligible.

1. Determine which absences are always eligible or always non-eligible, and for which absences eligibility depends on the absence duration.
2. Check that the absences entered in the table are correctly classified.
3. If necessary, assign a limit code to absences for which eligibility depends on the absence duration.

Make sure that the limit codes limit the eligibility of the absence by the correct number of calendar days (defined in the IMG activity Check Absence Limits).

1. If required, enter a two-digit limt code to represent the combination of an absence type and a limit type.
2. Save your entries.
