OHASEPS_WS002 - Define School Year for Teachers

In this IMG activity, you define the school year in accordance with the applicable school terms and holiday dates and store factors related to working periods. The system uses this data to determine the active period of employment of teachers in order to calculate holiday pay entitlement.

You normally only need to perfom this activity once a year.

You have defined a personnel subarea grouping for work schedules in the IMG activity Group Personnel Subareas for the Work Schedule.

1. Determine when the school terms start and end and enter the school year and the corresponding term dates.
2. Choose a personnel subarea grouping for work schedules.
3. Determine the end of the summer holiday period and enter the corresponding date.
4. Determine the start and end of the summer holiday period, calculate day 45 of the summer holiday period, and enter the date.
5. Calculate and enter a value for factor Y.
6. Calculate and enter a value for factor B.
7. Save your entries.
