SAP E-Book

This step enables you to check which wage types that are included in the Monthly Tax Statement.

In the standard SAP R/3 system you will find that wage types are set up.

  1. Enter the country grouping (23) and the form name (TAX2).
  2. Check wage types and customize if necessary.

The table RT means that the value in the first wage type field is a wage type read from the result table. There could either be technical wage types (/XXX) or normal wage types.

The second wage type field gives you information of where in the Monthly Tax Statement you can find the summary.

  • Yxxx WT cumulated into column xxx
  • Cxxx WT cumulated as value for “checkbox” mean decision is yes/no depending on the amount. Reported as flag in XML

Parameter Splits:

  • ND: values that are read only from the current original period (do not use -+ logic to forward the delta into the current period). It is mainly used for WTs (/407 and /427, among others) which has the base (for example, /103 /104 are already forwarded in the payroll).
  • REPL: means that the value in the original period is replaced by the value newly calculated in the "A" layer (bases for EC which are recalculated when there is a correction /407, /409 and so on).
  • RECA: for WT which marks periods which were recalculated (EC) = they should be reported again (technical WT /F03 & /F04 are triggers for the reporting of the period when they are created).
  • CORR: for a correction WT which is not forcing recalculation of EC and which should be reported again if there is delta to previous layer. (WT is based on template MG02).

WT options:

  • YECS (Employer Contribution Summary): calculated the value from the EC base wage types (for example, /425, and /437) for the particular group of age with the respective percentage and summed per the Organizational unit (reported in the Main statement, column 487).
  • YERC (Employer Contribution): the value is reported in the field marked "EC" in the ALV output (both Statements) and is not reported in the XML file (typically WT /427).
  • YTXB (Tax base): the value is reported in the field marked as "Tax base" in the ALV output (Individual statement) and is not reported in the XML file (typically WT /430).
  • YBEC (Correction wage type): used for a correction (is not displayed in any output = dummy column) and must be used together with parameter RECA (WTs /F03, /F04).
