In this section, you define the personnel area (PA) and personnel subarea (PSA) grouping for tax calculation method and tax ID. The PA/PSA grouping is used to group all personnel areas and personnel subareas having the same method of tax calculation and tax ID.

In Thailand, there are two methods of tax calculation. These include:

  1. Calculate in Advance Method (CAM)
  2. Accumulative Calculation Method (ACM)

Consider that your organization belongs to the personnel area TH01 with the head office under personnel subarea THN1 and the branch office under personnel subarea THN2. If tax reports for the head office and the branch office have to be submitted to different tax offices, then company tax ID may be different for both the personnel subareas. In this case, you have to define two PA/PSA groupings N1 and N2 since the tax ID differs even if the tax calculation method is the same. N1 can be assigned to TH01/THN1 and N2 can be assigned to TH01/THN2.

  1. Enter the PA/PSA grouping in the PS Grp TX field.
  2. Enter the corresponding description in the Output Text field.
  3. Save your entries.
