SAP E-Book

In this step, you define the info groups that are processed when actions are carried out. This must be carried out before you proceed to the next step where you must define the work list, i.e. the info group, for every personnel action that is to be carried out.
The info groups can be defined so that they are dependent on the user group (user parameter "UGR").
If there are no entries for an info group for the user's user group or if the user has not maintained their user group, then the info group is determined using the reference user group.

Infotypes and Sub types can be set up against the specified infogroup. These infotype records would be considered for delimitation during termination as of termination date and listing during reinstate.

The infogroup to be set up against is picked up from the Set up info Groups (T529A) table, based on the action type set up in feature 13TRM (where the first two characters returned).

When terminating an employee, the infotypes Personal data(0002), Organizational assignment (0001), Address (0006), are delimited as of the termination date.

The standard SAP System contains one info group for every action. The info groups are generally dependent on the user group. In this case, the country grouping is used as a value of the user group.

  1. Setup the action type to be used for setting up info group in feature 13TRM. The action type is the first two characters returned from this feature.
  2. Set up the relevant info group in T529A table for the action type.
  3. Set up your user group in the profile.
  4. For the required user group and info group, set up the relevant info types and sub type records in T588D to be delimited. During Termination, the info type records that are set up are always delimited irrespective of other operations. Similarly for reinstate, all the configured infotype records are listed irrespective of the operation.
