In this Customizing activity, you define the upper limits for court deductions as percentages of the employee's income:

  • Maximum percentage of deduction from regular net income
  • Maximum percentage of deduction from net bonus income

When you enter the deduction percentage in the record of the Deduction (TW) (3223) infotype, subtype Court Deduction, the system checks if the sum of all the deduction percentages for all the creditors of an employee reaches the upper limit.

You define the upper limit for deduction percentage from regular income as 30%. An employee has the following infotype records in the infotype 3223:

Creditor   Deduction Percentage from Regular Income
A   20%
B   15%

The sum of the deduction percentages (35%) exceeds the upper limit (30%); therefore the system issues a warning message.
