In this step, you define the reason for insurance premium change
of an employee.

The standard system provides sample reasons for insurance
premium change based on a model company.

  • Use the sample reasons for insurance premium change provided as a basis for customizing your company data.
  • SAP recommends that you only create reasons for insurance premium change as entries that are maintained in the standard SAP system could be overwritten when the release is next updated.
  • SAP recommends that you do not delete or change any of reasons for insurance premium change that are contained in the standard SAP system as this could lead to errors when you try to run payroll accounting.

To create new reasons for insurance premium change by copying samples
from the standard system, proceed as follows:

  1. Note relevant reasons for insurance premium change.
  2. Make a copy of the selected sample reasons for insurance premium
    change.
  3. Edit reasons for insurance premium change to suit your requirements.
  4. Check that all the reasons for insurance premium changes displayed
    on the list are copied correctly.
  5. The new reasons for insurance premium change are now copied. A list
    is generated logging the changes to all tables affected.
