According to the Labor Standards Act of Taiwan, retirement eligibility is determined by an employee's age and length of service.

In this Customizing activity, you enter the sets of age and length of service requirements for retirement, which are stated in the Labor Standards Act. The eligibility requirements for retirement can be used by the report program TW Pension and Severance Payment Calculation Report (HTWLNPP0) to determine whether an employee is eligible for retirement in processing pension calculation. If the Retirement Eligibility Check checkbox is selected on the selection screen, the program checks the selected employees' ages and length of service against the eligibility requirements, then calculates and outputs pension amounts for the employees eligible for retirement only, who meet any of the sets of age and length of service requirements.

You enter two sets of age and length of service requirements as follows:

Minimum Years of Service   Minimum Age
15   55
10   60

Among the selected employees, there is an employee who is 58 years old and has 35 years of service. Since the employee meets the first set of age and length of service requirements, the report program HTWLNPP0 calculates and outputs his or her pension amount.
