OHAUAMDPA_ABSICK_005 - Check Conversion of Social Insurance Groups

In this Customizing activity, you check the conversion settings for social insurance groups and social insurance group modifiers.

You use these conversion settings to determine how much employees receive when they are unable to work. This calculation takes place in the Calculation of Social Insurance Allowances - Ukraine (UASI0) payroll function.

Assume that an employee is assigned to social insurance group <5 (less than five years of uninterrupted work). Since this employee is a single mother, she is also assigned to the social insurance group modifier U4 (donors, who are entitled to benefits).

The combination of social insurance group <5 and social insurance group modifier U3 result in social insurance group PRIVILEGE.

This means that the employee's entitlement is the same as for someone who has worked for longer - and has social insurance group >8.
